North Ed Life Skills Center (LSC) students danced the night away at prom! LSC Prom isn't just about fun; it's a celebration of the growth our students achieve and testament to how our programs empower students to develop vital social skills, build meaningful relationships, and create lasting memories. Celebrating these accomplishments at prom is truly special! Thank you KarunaPhoto for volunteering your talents and capturing these moments.

Meet Ian Bush.
Ian is a veteran and has continued his service to the community by being a building substitute for teachers, paraprofessionals and secretaries through WillSub.
“I think the thing I love most about my job is the students being excited to see me. I really enjoy going to a school and knowing I’m making a positive impact. Their excitement is contagious and makes coming to work worth it.”
Being a substitute, Ian said, requires a unique skill of being able to build common ground with new people in a short amount of time. Creating a culture of connectedness, getting to know others and making work a fun and exciting place are goals he sees for everyone at North Ed.
Ian said he brings his unique perspective and viewpoints to the classroom that impact students in a positive way.
“I also believe that I have been a safe space for a lot of students to be their authentic selves and to exhibit positive qualities that will help them navigate life.”
Thank you, Ian, for supporting education.
