Employment Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in employment with Northwest Education Services. All applications for employment must be submitted through our Unified Talent application system.
To establish a complete pre-employment file, please complete the online application. Your information will be retained in active status for one school year. If your qualifications meet our needs, we will contact you for further information and a possible interview.
Job Openings and Employment Application
North Ed upgraded its application system on February 16, 2022. Applications submitted to the previous Unified Talent Applicant Tracking system prior to that date were not able to be transferred to the new system.
In order to apply for currently open positions posted after February 16, 2022, we ask that you create an account in our new system. Once you create an account you will be able to apply for multiple jobs on this platform. Follow the link above to begin using the NEW Unified Talent Applicant Portal.

School Safety & Public Employment Relations Acts
School Safety Law
On January 1, 2006, all Michigan School Districts must comply with a series of Public Acts related to school safety (2005 PA 129-131 and 138). Commencing January 1, 2006, all employees, new and current, will be required to have a criminal history record check conducted by the Michigan State Police (MSP) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The new law also requires you, as an employee of the district/school to self-report to your employer and the Michigan Department of Education when you have been arraigned/charged with a crime. You must do so within three business days or you will be guilty of an additional crime. Employees will report this information to the Personnel Office at 231-922-6262. Go to SafeSchools for more information.
