Our talented Career Tech Graphic Arts students wrapped up their vibrant school year with prestigious recognition, industry insight and meaningful connections!
Students participated in the Michigan Industrial Technology and Education Society (MITES) Competition, an annual showcase of Michigan's best Career and Technical Education (CTE) student work. We're proud to announce our students earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place honors in several Graphic Arts categories this year.

Graphic Arts also welcomed guest speakers, virtually and in the classroom, including professional tattoo artist and 2017 alum Tony Diaz, who shared industry insights and the reminder that "some days you make money, some days you make art"—a powerful reflection on balancing creativity and career.
Students met virtually with Steven Stanchfield, Animation Instructor at College for Creative Studies, gaining valuable perspective on the animation industry, creative workflows, and the many paths available within the world of digital storytelling and design.
