Postsecondary Partners

Students at Northwest Education Services Career Tech have an opportunity to earn college credit for competencies attained in our career and technical programs. This is called postsecondary credit articulation which is completed through a formal agreement in writing between two or more institutions.

Benefits to the student include:

  • Starting college studies while in high school
  • Earning college credits for course work taken at the secondary level
  • Less money spent on college tuition
  • Shorten the time spent obtaining a postsecondary education
  • Improves job readiness skills and job placement potential
  • Articulated credit appears on the student's college transcript
