Early On
Northwest Education Services (North Ed) provides child development evaluations and early intervention in the home setting for children suspected to have developmental delays or disabilities. This service is provided at no cost to families.
The purpose of this program is for families and Northwest Education Services staff to work together in identifying, coordinating and providing needed services and resources that will help support growth and development of the child.

Early Head Start
Northern Michigan Community Action Agency (NMCAA) Early Head Start work to give parents the skills and support to make the most of the first three years of their child's life. Families with children ages birth to 3 are enrolled, sometimes even before the baby is born. The NMCCA Early Head Start program is a year-round home visiting program with opportunities for families to attend socialization experiences at a variety of area family development centers.
