Northwest Education Services Mission
Northwest Education Services has a dynamic and responsive relationship with our local school districts, the community and business partners that defines the scope of our work.
Work together to develop learners with purpose, strong schools and engaged communities.
Partnering to ensure every learner will have pathways to a meaningful life.
In the summer of 2022, North Ed embarked on another three-year strategic planning process to continue developing the ISD's long-range plan for improvement. Reflecting on SAIL 1.0 and the accomplishments made from 2019 to 2022, we once again gathered input from all stakeholders (students, parents, staff, schools and community members we serve) to develop the North Ed Strategic Plan SAIL 2.0, where we will stay true to Serving, Achieving, Inspiring, Learning.
Remaining focused on our Vision, Mission and Values, SAIL 2.0 will lead our continuous improvement process through to 2025 with specific goals that enhance our service and support to our staff and the school communities we serve.

Phase I - Conduct Focus Groups
Randomly selected parents, students, staff, community members and local school district leaders were asked to participate in focus groups to gather perceptions, values, and aspirations. The results of the focus groups will assist in the development of a comprehensive survey tool.
Phase II - Survey Staff, Students, Parents and Community Members
A comprehensive survey was rolled out in the spring of 2019 and the findings are shared below. The information will be used to drive the district’s long-range plan.
